3 Class Structure Spelling progression  

 

Spelling Resource = Twinkl PlanIt English Spelling Scheme 

 

Expectation:  

All classes teach the PowerPoint at the beginning of the week. Handwriting/activities throughout the week relating to spellings, spellings sent home, spelling test at the end of the week. 

 

 

Reception/Year 1 to teach the same progression as a repetitive cycle. 

Year 4 is a stand-alone year group and taught discretely. 

Year 2/3 and Year 5/6 are on a two-year rolling programme which covers both year’s content over 2 years.
